Sales Director – Home Market


FL, NJ, MA, IL; Remote Position


Reports to: Executive Vice President

Position Overview:

We are looking for a competent sales person to find business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You will act as a key driver of growth by identifying and developing prospects and clients in the Home Market (Welcome Mat, Welcome Wagon, MooveGuru etc) and related businesses. This position requires industry knowledge and connections, determination and the ability to collaborate across many stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience in customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

The goal is to find opportunities and turn them in long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, capture and close prospects using a solution based selling approach
  • Reach and exceed annual goals
  • Increase revenue by focusing on and closing new business
  • Create trusted relationships across V12 and act as a client advocate in solution delivery
  • Present products and solutions to prospective clients
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ experience
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients. It is your responsibility to understand their needs, desires and goals.
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
  • Drive to achieve: month, quarterly and annual budget goals.


  • Proven experience as a sales executive within the Direct Marketing industry
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • A deep network of contacts
  • Familiarity with all forms of marketing data and agility in creating client solutions
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • A business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • 7 plus years of experience in Sales
